Grand Opening of 50 Plates! During the design phase of this project Lisa George Design had several challenges ahead of them.  The kitchen area was very small and needed to accomodate a wide variety of functions (cooking/prep/pastry). Also, there was the challenge of designing a bar area that would be condusive to the morning coffee clientel and then the afternoon/evening bar clientel.  Another challenge was the low ceiling height in the space and kitchen.  This presented a challenge for the hood system that was being designed.  It was accomplished by putting in a low profile hood.  Overall the kitchen layout was a sucesss. This was  joint effort of all involved. I want to thank Beth Rear of Ankrom Moisan Architects for her knowledge of interior design on this project and working closely with me on several design issues. Also, I would especially like to thank Joe and Ginger Rapport for their trust in me to design this new concept for them.
